Day 446 – Which nationalities are most likeable?

    Friday, June 29th, 2007

    Avg : 19.80 km/h
    Total (km) : 17.707

*) This is a bit tricky. You meet a lot of other travellers along the way. Some people you like – others you don’t.

That said, I see some kind of pattern in terms of which nationalities I normally cling with, like being around, have fun with, feel congenial with etc. I know it’s very Eurocentric, but then again, that’s how I feel about it. When it all comes down to it, the people is what I like, regardless of nationality…

    Just a little sneeze…

    Monday, June 11th, 2007

I’ve finally managed to get closer to the present day in my diary. It’s taken me all day inside an A/C @-café while the blistering sun is falling generously down on Koh Samui outside. But I don’t mind ‘cos my back is baked anyway and it doesn’t need any more sun and beach…

My bicycle has been cleaned today, the diary is updated and it’s time for me to leave the tropical island paradise of Thailand. Tomorrow, Tuesday, I’ll go back to the mainland and head for Malaysia. I reckon I’ll get there in around 8-10 days, unforeseen detours not included.

    ‘Til next time,
