A Little Note
Everything is all good here in Victoria! I’m now in the small village Cann River, approx. 600 km south east of Melbourne with another 600 km to Sydney.
Jens, a Danish ethnographer is cycling with me for a month, from Melbourne to Sydney, making a documentary about the WT expedition that we’ll hopefully be able to broadcast nationally later on. We have a lot of fun on the roads. It’s really great to have Danish company, to dust off that Danish tongue of mine.
The photo was taken in Leongatha last week where Jens and I where invited to stay with Ron (74) and his wife Helen and her daughter Kiersten. We had the most fantastic 2 days with them and, again, I felt totally overwhelmed by the wave of great, unbelievable Aussie hospitality that just keeps rolling in…It’s hard to describe exactly how I feel about it all, being part of the Aussie kindness…
Amazed, happy might come close but still doesn’t catch that little magical touch. I’m rambling.
Cheers for now.
Nicolai

Glad to hear that you’re still happily rolling along 🙂
And you had a haircut for all that time in front of the camera? But didn’t lose as much as I’ll be losing in a month ! I am super scared about that, but at least I have my health!
