Hossa Nicolai!
We had exactly the same feelings when we rode this bad waschbrettpisten. But now you are on asphalt again….. enjoy it!!!!! Thera are lots of other shitty roads in bolivia. But when you ride over the salar you will forget all this things suddenly. I promise you.
Many greetings from (the wet and cold) Chile.

Hi Max & Heidi…
Good to hear from you and that you´ve made it down to Chile.
I decided not to go via the Salar this time (was there back in 1998, and people tell me salt is salt after all 🙂 but to go via Tupiza, Potosi, Sucre (where I am now), Cochabamba and then La Paz etc.
But yeah, the Salar area is stunning!
Hope you´ll hit some more waschbrettpisten down south on the Carratera Austral 🙂

Hello Nicolai
Far from Laos now ! La Paz is my favorite town, so wonderful. Enjoy ! I hope we can go back to Bolivia in the next years. Your pictures are so nice. All the best for Peru.

Hi Yves and Olivia…
Thanks for your reply. Indeed, La Paz is a great, great city. Crazy and alive. I love it too.
Regarding the docu-DVD you made about your RTW-journey: I sent Olivia (through Facebook) my parents´ address. Hope you got it 🙂
See you down the road, Yves…
