Getting ready for leaving New York is on the stress-free agenda today. I spend some quality time with Cristian - my New York host - doing the laundry in the neighborhood, having a(nother) footlong Subway sandwich, chilling and chatting.

That I will miss my time here in New York is beyond doubt. Culturally it can only go down after an unforgettable stay in The Big Apple…

At night we (tonight meaning Danish me, Swedish Charlotte, Colombian Beatriz, US/Romanian Cristian) are invited for a paella dinner at Natasha (ex-Moldavian) and her 7-year old son, Martin’s apartment in lower Manhattan.

It’s a lovely farewell dinner - and the views from the top-floor deck are amazing…
