The fish in the pond next to my camp last night kept waking me up during the night as they did their late-night-showing-off-somersault-twists-in-mid-air followed by a big splash. Not very polite fish.
It’s a very pretty day. The air is so thick and fresh, colors are bright and clear (so’s my Canon 50D), and the landscape reminds me of my vision of Canada.
Sexy curves!
I follow the Hudson River most of the day which - contrary to my expectations - means a lot of hills to climb. The scenery more than compensates for the non-stop sweat from Zülle’s forehead.
Comment of the Day: Wuuh, nice legs! (Afro-American woman in her car near Hudson)

At 8PM it’s still 29 degrees Celsius as I leave Hudson village behind in search for a tent spot after more than 8 hours of pedaling. Two guys in a car stop me, we have a little chat, and they offer me to put up my tent in their backyard not too far away, but I’m exhausted and just want to sleep straight away, without all the chitchat that always follows being invited to strangers’ place. It seems like a no-win situation for me, and so I turn down their otherwise kind offer.
