    Top 10 – Gringo Hang-out (beach)

There are a lot of great places in the world. Places that travellers discovered long time ago and that they keep coming back to, simply because there’s something special about that particular place. It might be a certain feel-good atmosphere, the setting, the weather, the cultural life, the night life, the chill-out factor of the place…

To cut it short, cool places to hang out.

Quite a few of these gringo hang-outs are located near or on the great beaches of the world.

These are some of my favourite beach places…

      Hi Nicolai,

Great list! I like that you included Zipolite–did you go to Puerto Escondido as well? That place was so chill I never wanted to leave. Look forward to more photos and tales from the road. Especially how you’re going to navigate the NT–that’s a biggie!

      Wishing you well,

      Hi Lisa…

I didn’t make it to PE back in 1997, no. Liked Zipo too much to move anywhere, I guess.

Navigating in NT isn’t really a big problem if you’re heading south. As you’d know, there’s just this one road, The Stuart Hwy that runs for more than 3.000 kms from Darwin to Adelaide on the south coast. Handy, ehh?

      Will be back!
